Conditional exemption for engineer officers serving on national ports authority harbour tugs of 3000 kw propulsion power or more engaged on voyages between south African ports.

The South African Maritime Safety Authority regularly issue Marine Notices that deal with a very wide range of maritime issues. While not all of these will have any direct effect on you or your business, some most certainly will. It is in your interests to monitor when these notices are issued, and at least read the preamble, so you can decide whether or not the notice might be relevant to you.
